Operational Transformation Specialist

Job Summary

Work in partnership with leadership and various operational teams and organizational departments to oversee small to medium functional projects or phases(s) of a larger project. Builds relationships with leaders at all levels of the region, including clinicians, front-line care teams, and other stakeholders to assess and enhance systems to produce optimal organizational process outcomes. This position serves as a facilitator of change management and project management principles and methodologies to address opportunities for improvement while promoting stakeholder engagement in solution development.

Essential Functions

• Oversees small to medium sized, multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts.
• Captures project work including project plans and schedules, and completes projects on time and within budget.
• Analyzes and documents, processes, procedures and outcomes to seek continuous improvement.
• Affirms resource requirements for project tasks and works with leaders of functional areas and subject matter experts to meet project plan deliverables.
• Communicates, collaborates, networks and acts as a consultant to stakeholders/business partners in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources.
• Serves as a liaison for projects between various departments within the system.
• Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of project management.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience of applicable business function experience or other related experience.
  • 2 years of relevant experience of related experience, preferably in project management.
• PREFERRED:
  • Master's Degree in related field.
  • Relevant industry standard certification in Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management, Healthcare.
  • Management Engineering or equivalent experience.
