OPERATIONAL STRATEGY LEAD (ANALYST 4)

U.S. Citizenship required. Full-time, 1st shift. Relocation assistance available. Up to 10% travel may be required.

About the Role

The Operational Strategy team works across the enterprise to establish investment and partnership strategies to meet customer demand, improve company performance, and introduce new technologies into the shipyard. In this position, you will lead operational strategy development to increase shipbuilding throughput, analyze constraints and opportunities, identify solutions (both internal and through partnerships), and lead stakeholders to execute the strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop investment strategies across operations, supply chain, workforce, and infrastructure
• Conduct diagnostic analyses to identify constraints and opportunities
• Identify and implement new technologies and processes to streamline operations
• Manage execution of initiatives by partnering with stakeholders across the company
• Lead internal teams and coordinate closely with initiative owners to develop and execute value creation plans, roadmaps, and business cases
• Prepare strategy documents for senior internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare cross-program reporting on strategy, investments, and execution of improvement initiatives

Requirements

Must have one of the following:

• Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant exempt experience
• Master’s Degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience
• Ph.D. and 4 years of experience
• NNS Apprentice School graduate
• Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
• Associate's Degree or other formal 2-year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
• Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
• High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience, or other relevant exempt experience
• High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience, or other relevant non-exempt experience

Pay

Salary range: $113,000.00 to $143,000.00. The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
