Operational Services Executive
About the role
As Operational Services Executive, you will provide day-to-day front of house and operational support, helping to ensure customers, students, staff and visitors receive a professional, welcoming and efficient service across Surrey Sports Park. You will support reception, enquiries, bookings, admissions, memberships, payments, access control and customer records, while maintaining high standards of presentation, administrative accuracy and customer care. Acting as a visible operational point of contact on shift, you will support colleagues and casual staff, resolve routine customer queries, escalate issues where needed and work closely with teams across Memberships, Gym, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Team Surrey, Swim Academy, Events and University departments.
Requirements
- Strong customer service experience, ideally gained in a leisure, sport, hospitality or similar public-facing environment
- Ability to remain calm, professional and organised in a busy multi-service setting
- Experience of supervising or supporting a front-line team
- Experience handling customer queries and complaints with tact and diplomacy
- Experience completing administrative and financial processes accurately, including cash handling, reconciliations, bookings or membership systems
- Confident communicator with sound judgement
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive approach to service improvement
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
Pay
£28,610 per annum
