Responsibilities
- Deliver platform instruction as the Primary Instructor (PI) or Assistant Instructor in support of the approved ORMC Program of Instruction (POI).
- Facilitate classroom instruction, guided discussions, practical exercises (PEs), and performance evaluations in accordance with approved course standards.
- Serve as a mentor, coach, and evaluator during Government-led practical exercises and student assessments.
- Grade student performance and testing events in accordance with the Individual Student Assessment Plan and established grading criteria.
- Conduct student counseling sessions regarding academic performance, practical exercise execution, and course progression.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all ORMC instructional material, learning objectives, and practical exercise requirements.
- Support Operational Risk Management instruction and subject matter expertise for related programs, including Advanced Special Operations Training Course (ASOTC) and Advanced Special Operations Techniques Managers Course (ASOTMC), as required.
- Participate in course reviews, after-action reviews (AARs), curriculum updates, and professional development activities between training cycles.
Qualifications
- Completion of the New Instructor Candidate Program (NICP) or equivalent Government-approved instructor qualification program.
- Graduate of the Advanced Special Operations Techniques Course (ASOTC).
- Demonstrated Operational Risk Management Course (ORMC) management or facilitation skill set, including instructional delivery, grading, and student evaluation responsibilities.
- Prior Counterintelligence (CI) experience in an operational or training environment.
- Minimum of 4 years of Special Operations Forces (SOF) operational experience.
