About the role

This position involves managing disaster restoration projects, interacting with customers, adjustingers, and ensuring compliance with company processes and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieves work orders and loads necessary equipment and supplies onto trucks.
  • Completes assigned jobs according to company processes and carrier standards, maintaining quality control.
  • Maintains a sense of urgency while performing daily monitoring and required activities on active jobs.
  • Explains processes to customers and provides them with printed materials as guidance.
  • Communicates with adjusters in person, over the phone, and virtually to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Completes sketch and scope sheets for estimates, and enters data using mobile software.
  • Inspects jobs after completion and obtains customer signatures for approval.
  • Resolves customer issues and communicates with key company staff regarding daily job activities.
  • Prepares and reviews documentation, including notes, photos, and customer signatures, to facilitate reimbursement from insurance companies.
  • May train new technicians or key operational team members.
  • Ensures adherence to safety standards during all active jobs.

Requirements

  • Valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with entering data using a tablet or mobile phone.
  • Knowledge of reconstruction services.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of disaster restoration or construction industry.
  • Proficient with using mobile software to enter data.
  • Experience with using Xactimate (preferred).
  • Experience in training and managing others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Skills

  • Knowledge of disaster restoration industry.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to move up to 70 pounds often.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Using respirators as required.
  • Working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
