Operational Language Analyst 2

About the role

The Operational Language Analyst will perform tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.

Responsibilities

• Process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations
• Perform tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations
• Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English or 3 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT
• 4 years performing crypto language processing, scanning, recovering EEIs, gisting, translating/transcribing, compiling working aids, report drafting and databases
• 2 years of primary duty conducting translation, transcriptions, and gisting
• No more than 1 year of reporting as primary duty
• 2 of 4 years of experience has to be within 4 years of resume submission

Requirements

• At least 4 years of full-time experience
• Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly
• Desired Languages:
• Chinese-Mandarin
• Spanish
• Kanuri
• Somali
• Russian
• Turkish

Qualifications

• Entry level positions require an associate's degree or an additional two years of experience.

Skills

• Full-time experience
• ILR skill level 3 in audio translation and/or text translation
• 4 years performing crypto language processing
• 2 years of primary duty conducting translation, transcriptions, and gisting
• No more than 1 year of reporting as primary duty
• 2 of 4 years of experience within 4 years of resume submission

Pay

Pay Range: $128,000 to $155,000 full Salary range lowest to highest across locations
