Operational Key Account Manager
Summary
As a Key Account Manager in Operations at DSV, you will manage and grow key accounts in the transportation and logistics industry. You will work closely with clients to ensure their satisfaction and oversee the operational aspects of their shipments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key accounts in the transportation and logistics industry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and meet operational goals
- Oversee the operational aspects of client shipments, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Develop and implement account strategies and plans
- Analyze account performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Prepare and present reports to clients and internal teams
Educational background / Work experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in key account management in the transportation and logistics industry
- Experience with supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Master's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Experience with international logistics and customs regulations
- Experience with sales and business development
Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes
Supervisory Responsibilities (if any): May oversee the work of other account managers or support staff.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software is preferred.
Pay
The expected base pay range is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
