Operational Indirect Purchasing Specialist L2

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders and manage purchasing transactions for the plants
• Sources new suppliers and evaluates existing suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service standards
• Negotiates prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure best value while maintaining consistent supply
• Oversees the purchase order lifecycle, including order placement, tracking, and follow-up
• Addresses and resolves any issues related to late or incomplete deliveries or payment complaints
• Maintains effective communication with suppliers to ensure smooth operations
• Identifies cost-saving opportunities and recommends alternative suppliers, materials, or processes that reduce cost without compromising quality
• Manages cost controls and analyzes spending to support budgeting and cost-reduction initiatives
• Coordinates closely with internal stakeholders to ensure purchasing aligns with operational goals and constraints
• Serves as the main point of contact for plants and Suppliers and Category
• Participates in plants meetings to align purchasing activities with plants goals and resolve any related issues
• Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance purchasing efficiency and reduce lead times
• Maintains key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

• Formal education level completed: Master
• English language Advanced
• PowerBI / SAP Professional/Coupa
• Outlook Advanced
• Excel Professional
• Negotiation skills Advanced
