Operational Excellence Manager
About the role
The Operational Excellence Manager is a strategic leader within the plant, accountable for defining, implementing, and driving the operational excellence process to include World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies. This position delivers measurable operational improvements by leading loss identification and eradication initiatives, coaching pillar leaders, and ensuring sustainable business impact. The Operational Excellence Manager champions cultural change, challenges the status quo, and aligns improvement efforts with the company's corporate strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and drive implementation of operational excellence initiatives to deliver measurable results in Net Manufacturing Savings (NMS), productivity gains, and waste reduction.
- Facilitate Steering Committees to align safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people site priorities, review progress, and ensure accountability to KPIs.
- Own and maintain the Deployment Plan and Roadmap, integrating pillar activities with the plant's strategic objectives and drive overall project execution.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Kaizen events, and problem-solving workshops to eliminate chronic losses.
- Coach and mentor pillar teams to enhance technical expertise, delivery capability, and drive overall results.
- Champion the use of performance tracking tools (e.g., Project Tracker, dashboards) to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.

Pay
The national pay range for this position is $92,000 to $142,000 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus with a targeted amount of 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $103,040 to $159,040.
