Operational Compliance Lead
Job Description
The Operational Compliance Lead is responsible for driving the development, implementation, and oversight of compliance programs aligned with client policies and internal standards. This role focuses on translating client requirements into scalable procedures, supporting operational teams in achieving compliance, supporting energy and sustainability programs with field and desktop verifications, and ensuring consistent execution through communication, training, and change management.
Serves as a key partner to operations, sustainability, and leadership teams by identifying risks, improving processes, and enabling compliant service delivery across the portfolio. Supports a major financial services client in the US and is responsible for ensuring consistent adherence to client policies across engineering and facilities operations.
- Supports sustainability and energy programs with collaborative efforts to assist in field implementations, verifications, and feedback on programs.
- Acts as a central resource for operational teams, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure policies are understood, adopted, and consistently applied.
- Leads and coordinates compliance-related change management efforts, including updates to policies, processes, and tools, ensuring effective communication and adoption across stakeholders.
- Partners with operations, engineering, safety, energy and sustainability, and program teams to proactively identify compliance risks, recommend corrective actions, and drive resolution.
- Oversight compliance reporting and tracking, including audits, findings, action plans, and closures, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Analyzes data and trends to identify systemic issues and opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation.
- Develops and maintains compliance documentation, training materials, and communication strategies to support consistent execution across the account.
About the Role
Resides in the service provider’s Chief Administrative Offices (CAO) group supporting the client’s Real Estate Services function. Reports into the Operations and Compliance Director and works closely with account leadership, operations, sustainability, retail, projects teams, and additional support functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
- 5–8 years of experience in facility management, energy and sustainability, compliance, operations, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of compliance programs, energy programs, policy interpretation, sustainability initiatives, and operational procedures.
- Experience developing and implementing standard operating procedures, program building, and governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of facility operations, engineering systems, and maintenance practices.
- Experience supporting audits, risk identification, and remediation activities.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across multiple levels.
- Experience with change management, training, and program rollout.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and execution skills.

$ 93,801.75 - $110,355.00
