Job Responsibilities
- Process the weekly AP payment batches and off-cycle payments.
- Enter and execute fund transfers, payments, and settlements accurately and in a timely manner.
- Compile and manage the End-to-End payment processing procedures.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures to safeguard assets.
- Work with Treasury leadership and staff to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Investigate payment status as necessary.
- Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to support liquidity management.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and deviations from forecasts.
- Act as backup to Treasury Analyst with daily Cash Management operations.
- Monitor daily cash positions to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Aid in the management of cash concentration arrangements and intercompany funding.
- Ensure compliance with US and international payment regulations.
- Absorb and respond to audits by preparing the required documentation.
Core Skills/Competency Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Alternatively, 1 - 2 years of experience in treasury, payments, or accounting roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Banking platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting
- Absorb and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to reconcile treasury-related transactions.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes and enhance efficiency.
