About the role
Reports to the Head Mechanic (Sr. Manager - Mechanic) within the Operations – Production Management department. Requires 7+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with consistent skill progression and a goal to achieve Tech 2 within 3 years. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with cGMP policies and company SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot production equipment such as high-speed automated lines, fillers, home-built machines, cartoners, inkjets, labelers, and laser marking systems with great attention to detail
- Work under pressure and manage multiple changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Acquire technical expertise to set up, disassemble, clean, and re-assemble production equipment
- Report problems preventing task completion to your supervisor
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth start-up of production lines
- Analyze, assess, and record deviations or changes in packing processes; modify equipment to support continuous improvement
- Recommend equipment and system improvements
- Ensure compliance with cGMP policies, company SOPs, and industry regulations
- Maintain a fully operational, safe, and clean work environment
- Perform mechanical preventive maintenance (PMs) during operation or scheduled downtime
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or higher)
- Minimum 7+ years of production line experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food industry
- Experience with different types of filling equipment (liquid, tube, powder, creams, Hot Pour)
- Knowledge of FDA, cGMP, and OSHA regulations
- Ability to work within a team structure with minimal supervision
- English communication skills required; Korean or Spanish helpful

Pay
Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 (compensation determined based on candidate's qualifications and experience)
