About the role

This position works closely with the Location Manager and both locations and oversees the day-to-day operational activities of the grain elevator. This includes the coordination of elevator operations staff in receiving, drying, storing, quality control, and transporting grains.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate elevator operations staff in receiving, drying, storing, quality control, and transporting grains.
• Oversee day-to-day operational activities of the grain elevator.

Requirements

• High School certificate or equivalent
• Supervisor experience (2 years)
• Grain handling experience (2 years)
• Customer relation skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Technical & Mechanical skills
• Safety oriented
• Dependable
• Experience in Microsoft Office programs
• Be able to use the cooperatives accounting system
• Perform duties that are physical in nature
• Be able to work in all types of weather conditions
