About the role
The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. Responsibilities include positioning and prepping the patient, circulating the case, maintaining scrupulous infection control standards, and collaborating as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. This position requires a focus on excellent customer service, the ability to multitask, and flexibility in assignments.
Schedule: Weekdays only — no holidays, weekends, or call.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care and service during surgical procedures
- Position and prep patients for surgery
- Circulate cases, ensuring smooth surgical operations
- Maintain rigorous infection control standards
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current unrestricted RN license in the state
- 1+ years of experience working as a Circulator in the operating room
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
