Operating Room Registered Nurse PRN
Mayfield Spine Surgery Center, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care and a service-oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full Time Operating Room Nurse to join our team.
About the role
The Registered Nurse in the operating room provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. Responsibilities include positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. The ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, able to multi-task, show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, and work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
This position requires weekdays only — no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings are required.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and service during surgery cases
- Position and prep patients for surgical procedures
- Maintain scrupulous infection control standards
- Collaborate as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current unrestricted RN license in the state
- 1+ years of experience working as a Circulator
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
