Operating Room Nurse - RN

About the Role

Provides direct perioperative patient care in the Operating Room, PACU, or related settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary team approach.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-quality nursing care.
• Models proficiency through precepting new staff.
• Contributes to safety and quality at the point of care.
• Supports specialty education and orientation for competency validation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Current RN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• 6 months of OR nursing experience or completion of a fellowship.
• Certifications such as CNOR and adherence to AORN standards are advantageous.
