Operating Room Nurse - RN

About the Role

The registered nurse provides direct patient care in perioperative, PACU, or operating room settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care and prioritize patient wellness.
• Model proficiency through precepting and mentoring.
• Contribute to safety and quality initiatives.
• Support individualized education and competency validation with clinical educators.
• Ensure safe, efficient perioperative care in adherence to AORN and ABPANC standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• At least 6 months of OR nursing experience or completion of a fellowship.

Preferred: BSN.
