Operating Room Nurse
USPI Northwest Surgery Center Red Oak is seeking a motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. Conveniently located on the Ascension Seton Northwest Hospital campus, we have 7 OR rooms and 1 Procedure room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Urology.
About the role
The RN OR Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. Responsibilities include positioning and prepping the patient, and circulating the case. The ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, able to multi-task, show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, and work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, with schedule subject to change based on surgical needs
- Some early mornings and later evenings required
- No holidays, weekends, or call
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
- Valid unrestricted Texas RN license
- Current American Heart BLS certification
- Prior experience working as a circulator
