About the role
Provide nursing care during surgical procedures in an ambulatory surgery center, including patient positioning, prepping, and circulating cases across various specialties such as Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology.
Responsibilities
- Ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures
- Assist with surgical setup and preparation
- Support the clinical team during procedures
- Make independent nursing judgments in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification as required
- At least 1 year of circulator experience
Skills
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Experience with surgical procedures
- Ability to work independently
Schedule
4x10 schedule with no weekends, nights, holidays, or on-call duties.
