Operating Director

Cornerstone Caregiving, the largest privately owned in-home care company, is seeking an exceptional Operating Director to lead the Birmingham, AL branch. This role is pivotal in driving our mission to empower seniors to age comfortably and with dignity in their own homes.

About the role

As the Operating Director, you will independently manage and lead this branch with ongoing corporate training and support. You will play a key role in establishing, growing, and improving the office while fostering a strong team culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a marketing plan to establish Cornerstone as the preferred in-home care provider.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with referral partners (hospitals, hospices, senior living, etc.).
• Hire, onboard, and oversee new team members, ensuring all shifts are properly staffed.
• Monitor on-call responsibilities for client, caregiver, and partner communications.
• Conduct in-home assessments, build strong client relationships, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee the office budget and manage profit and loss statements.
• Create a positive workplace culture by incentivizing, motivating, and setting team morale standards.
