Open Rank Professor of Accounting
Position Summary
The School of Business at Indiana University Southeast invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track Professor of Accounting. Start date is August 2027, though an earlier start date may be considered. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The school anticipates multiple hires as part of a strategic investment in the continued growth of its accounting program within an AACSB-accredited School of Business.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses
- Maintain an active scholarly agenda consistent with AACSB standards for faculty qualification
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the accounting program
Required Qualifications
- Earned Ph.D. in Accounting from an accredited institution by date of appointment (ABD candidates nearing completion may be considered)
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and student engagement
- Evidence of an active research agenda or ongoing scholarly engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to collegiality, collaboration, and community engagement
