About the role

The University of Florida seeks applications for an open-rank (Assistant/Associate/full) professor position in Higher Education Administration and Policy. The UF Higher Education Administration and Policy program sits in one of the top 5 public colleges of education for graduate studies and was instrumental in creating Florida’s community college system. We have a rich history of research and scholarship in higher education leadership, policy, and practice. We seek established candidates with scholarly interests focused on higher education administration and policy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scholarly activities commensurate with the expectations of a tenure-track faculty member at a top-10 public research institution and member of the AAU.
    • Publish in significant, high-impact refereed scholarly journals
    • Vigorously pursue and secure external funding
    • Teach (face-to-face, blended, and/or online) courses
    • Advise, engage, and mentor graduate students in teaching, research, and outreach activities
    • Participate in program development
    • Provide service to the program, school, college, university, and the profession
