Duties
- Research: Develop and maintain an active scholarly research agenda in entrepreneurship and related fields. Conduct, disseminate, and publish high-quality research through peer-reviewed journals, scholarly presentations, and other appropriate academic outlets.
- Teaching: Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in entrepreneurship and related disciplines. Contribute to student learning through instruction, mentoring, advising, curriculum development, and other educational activities that support the mission of the School of Business.
- Service: Engage in service activities that support the area, school, university, profession, and broader community. Contribute through committee participation, professional engagement, outreach, student support activities, and other service contributions appropriate to rank and expertise.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Management or related field (must be earned by August 18, 2027).
- Demonstrated (or evidence of high potential for) scholarship excellence as shown through publications in leading entrepreneurship journals or leading academic journals in related fields, and promising research projects and papers targeted to leading journals.
- Demonstrated (or evidence of high potential for) teaching excellence in entrepreneurship and related fields. Candidates at the Associate and Full Professor level must meet the requirements for Promotion and Tenure at that level for the School of Business at the University of Kansas.
