About the role

The University of Colorado School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) are seeking a fellowship trained, Pediatric Interventional Radiologist (IR) to join our growing practice!

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic pediatric interventional procedures daily at CHCO.
  • Neuro-interventional procedures and stroke are covered by a separate team that can provide opportunities for collaboration.
  • Providing pediatric diagnostic radiology coverage is helpful but not required.
  • Call responsibilities are currently every fourth night and weekend but will become every fifth with a new hire.
  • Fellow, resident, and medical student education in both an outpatient and inpatient setting are critical components of the position.

Requirements

  • Licensed MD or DO from accredited institution in the U.S., or equivalent, if a non-U.S. graduate
  • Colorado Medical License by time of hire
  • ABR Certification or eligible
  • Completion of Vascular and Interventional Radiology training

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications for all ranks: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Rank at the time of appointment will be based on the candidate’s demonstrated contributions and experience in teaching, clinical, research, and/or service to the field.
  • Assistant Professor- Professor Required Qualifications: Licensed MD or DO from accredited institution in the U.S., or equivalent, if a non-U.S. graduate
  • Colorado Medical License by time of hire
  • ABR Certification or eligible
  • Completion of Vascular and Interventional Radiology training
