About the role
The Department of Health Informatics Institute at University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine, USF Diabetes and Endocrinology Center is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine Endocrinologist for a full-time, faculty position.
All candidates must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license. The salary for this position is negotiable.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the expansion of Center clinical services and clinical research initiatives with pituitary disorders and other general endocrine disorders, and consultative services to assist regional primary care physicians in their patient care.
- Main focus will be on general endocrinology, especially pituitary disorders.
- Outpatient clinical care, participation in the USF DC faculty call schedule, and consultation at area hospitals.
- Professional Development and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
- MBC/BE Internal Medicine Endocrinologist.
- All candidates must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
- To perform this position, the candidate will need to obtain and maintain a full un-restricted FL Medical License, maintain credentials in the USF Health faculty practice plan, and be a medical staff member in good standing at the hospitals he/she is assigned to perform clinical duties.
