Job Summary

The Department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible dermatologist to join our expanding academic faculty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions
  • Perform common dermatologic procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrosurgery, and excision of benign and malignant lesions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with primary care physicians and specialists when needed
  • Supervise and teach dermatology residents, fellows, and medical students during outpatient clinics
  • Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and sun protection
  • Participate in departmental conferences and contribute to the academic environment through mentorship, scholarly activities, and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible in Dermatology
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Colorado
  • Interest in teaching and working in an academic setting
  • Interest in developing a focused clinical niche within the department that complements existing programs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
