About the role
The Department of Family Medicine is seeking a full-scope Family or Internal Medicine physician (no OB) to join The Pam Muma Women's Health Center to provide high-quality concierge medicine within primary care and contribute to an engaging academic environment focused on team-based care and patient outcomes. This role has strictly outpatient patient care components.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, proactive primary and preventative care for a limited concierge panel.
- Congduct comprehensive wellness visits, health assessments, and diagnostic reviews.
- Manage chronic diseases and coordinate specialty care and hospital interactions when needed.
- Offer same-day or next-day appointments, extended consultations, and direct physician access (phone, secure portal).
- Develop individualized care and wellness plans, integrating nutrition, fitness, and preventative strategies.
- Lead care coordination with a dedicated nursing and concierge support team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to elevate patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance the concierge medicine program and its offerings.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, and active or eligible for unrestricted medical license in Florida.
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to high-touch, patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
- Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate, or Full Professor.
- Previous experience in a concierge or private internal medicine practice.
- Proven record of exceptional patient satisfaction and retention.
- Interest in integrative or lifestyle medicine approaches.
