About the role

The Registered Nurse position at MercyOne Genesis Outpatient Care Center is a part-time, day shift role. This position is responsible for providing and directing safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient. Key accountabilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice; adherence to Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA; and active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
• Assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice.
• Adherence to Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA.
• Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Education: Associates Degree in Nursing
• License: Registered Nurse in Iowa, required within one year; licensed in Illinois.
• Licenses/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Training: Basic Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation; Certification in Med/Surg Nursing or ASPAN.
• Preferred: Certification and Baccalaureate in Nursing.

Pay

.6 FTE (24 hours per week), $15.00/hr.

Schedule

8-hour shifts, 7 am - 3:30 pm, 1 hour flex start time, No Weekends/Holidays.
