Job Summary
The Outpatient (OP) Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy services to transition-aged youth in a hybrid outpatient and school-based setting. This role maintains a clinical caseload, completes required assessments and documentation, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and delivers high-quality, ethical behavioral health services to consumers ages 16–25.
Educational & Licensure Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Nursing.
- Associate-level or Independent licensure required (or in the process of obtaining licensure).
- Compliance with all supervision requirements of the respective licensure board.
- If a Registered Nurse (RN), must hold Psychiatric Mental Health accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain an active outpatient caseload and provide therapeutic services.
- Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including:
- Diagnostic Screening Assessment
- Health Assessment (initial and annual)
- Bio-Psychosocial Assessment (initial and annual)
- Treatment Plan
- Treatment/Service Plan Reviews
- Continuing Care documentation
- Termination Summaries
Skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrated competency using computers and electronic health record systems.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Pay
Salary Range: Associate-Level License (e.g., LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT, LDADC): $55,000 - $61,875 per year
Independent-Level License (e.g., LPP, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT): $65,000 - $73,125 per year
Schedule
This is a full-time position.
