Main Tasks

• Affixing, adjusting, and operating machinery to manufacture goods or components as per specifications.
• Cleaning, servicing, and conducting routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal condition.
• Monitoring machines during operation to ensure they function correctly and addressing issues as necessary.
• Identifying and resolving problems with machines, contributing to the optimization of production processes.
• Managing operational processes and maintaining accurate records of machine performance.
• Producing products at acceptable quality levels, setting up and changingover equipment within predetermined times.
• Conducting Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks and managing quality documentation.
• Determining if equipment is not meeting standards and adhering to Bill of Materials (BOM) and production schedules.
• Maintaining process scrap at acceptable levels.
• Carrying out 5S duties, including preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Performing other job-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of proper use of hand tools.
• Ability to use and measure with precision using tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify the root cause of malfunctions.
• Positive and professional demeanor while performing job duties.
• The ability to work overtime to meet production requirements.
• An acceptable attendance record to ensure timely completion of work.
• Knowledge of and adherence to the current Quality and Environmental System requirements relevant to this job.
• Technical training or certification.
