Onyx Server Assistant

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Server Assistant to join the dedicated and dynamic Onyx team. This position provides an enjoyable dining experience to guests while maintaining the restaurant's high standards of quality, professionalism, and friendliness.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Server in providing an enjoyable dining experience to guests.
• Retrieves food from the kitchen and safely transports and delivers it to guests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Breaks down, cleans, and sets up tables, buffets, and food stations.
• Clears, cleans, and sets up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner.
• Stocks linen, china, silver, and glassware for service, ensuring they are polished and in good condition.
• Prepares condiment and garnish items.
• Greet guests in a professional manner, serving beverage and food items while explaining the contents and anticipating and servicing guest needs before requests are necessary.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• One year previous experience in a luxury Food and Beverage outlet.
• Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills.

• Hourly range: $17.71.

Schedule & Hours

• This is a part-time position scheduled around 3-4 days a week.
