Onsite Customer Care Representative - Tampa, FL

About the role

The Onsite Customer Care Representative works with Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL, providing services to healthcare facilities requiring proof of vaccinations. Key responsibilities include obtaining patient consents, managing patient progress notes, assisting with EMR uploads, and handling customer complaints.

Responsibilities

• Work with nursing to obtain patient consents
• Determine best practices for notifying nurses of new starts/restarts needing consents
• In-service new hires on the process of obtaining consents
• Upload patient progress notes and VA authorizations to ExpressView
• Affix serial numbers at Moffitt Cancer Center (MCC)
• Enter Return Goods Authorization (RGA) for pump malfunctions
• Maintain appropriate utilization of pumps
• Identify missing order information necessary for billing
• Obtain a paper recertification if necessary
• Handle customer complaints and orders
• Identify missing order information necessary to bill (dx codes, doc names, drug regimens)
• Capture doctor signatures we are missing
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Healthcare experience is required. Reliable transportation to travel to other Moffitt locations within the Tampa, FL area is necessary.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical background
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, Excel)
• Strong telephone and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and organize tasks
• Ability to write reports and correspondence
• Current valid driver’s license
