About the Role

We are looking for English-speaking experts residing in the United States to participate in a search engine evaluation project. The role involves reviewing and evaluating search engine results to determine their relevance, quality, usefulness, and alignment with user intent. As a Search Engine Evaluation Expert, you will help improve the quality of search experiences by assessing different search results and providing thoughtful judgments based on detailed project guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review search queries and corresponding search engine results.
• Evaluate how well search results satisfy the user's intent.
• Assess the relevance, quality, usefulness, and overall helpfulness of search results.
• Compare different search results and determine which result provides the best experience for the user.
• Follow detailed project guidelines and training materials when making evaluations.
• Provide clear and consistent ratings based on the evaluation criteria.
• Explain the reasoning behind your ratings when required.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across evaluation tasks.
• Complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently residing in the United States.
• Strong English language proficiency.
• Excellent understanding of written English and user intent.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to critically evaluate online/search content.
• Ability to follow detailed written guidelines accurately.
• Good analytical and reasoning skills.
• Comfortable working independently on repetitive evaluation tasks.
• Must have access to a Gmail email address for project registration/onboarding.
