Online Software Development Adjunct Faculty

Qualifications

Education/Certifications: Masters degree in Computer Science with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution.

Experience: 3-5 years industry experience required within the last 5 years.

• Programming experience in C, C++, Coral, Python, Java, Assembly, Javascript, CSS, HTML and/or SQL.
• Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
• Understanding of and experience with relational database environments.

Required Skills

• Taught one live session each week and held one live office hour per week via Zoom.
• Comfortable being first point of contact to troubleshoot software or technical concerns for students.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a 5-week accelerated course environment.

Online Faculty Technical Requirements

• Reliable high-speed internet required.
• Supplied your own Windows-based computer and webcam that pass the ECPI University minimum requirements test.
