Adjunct Online Faculty-Professional Development
About the role
Spartanburg Methodist College invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions in Professional Development. The successful candidate will teach online class sections on a semester-by-semester basis, pending enrollment, instructor availability, and student success.
Responsibilities
- Teach one or more online class sections on a semester-by-semester basis.
- Ensure students complete six Professional Development courses called the Camak Core.
- Prepare students for success in their first job and every job after graduation by focusing on developing top skills employers seek.
Requirements
- A minimum of a master's degree.
- A minimum of five years of work experience in a professional environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with best practices in a professional environment.
- Personnel or project management experience.
- Experience as a teacher (or demonstrable promise thereof).
Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in any discipline.
