Responsibilities
- Identifies and documents student performance or conduct concerns, implements appropriate remediation plans, and follows institutional policies for disciplinary action or dismissal when warranted
- Evaluates learning resources such as reference material, audio/visual aids, computer-assisted learning programs, and library acquisitions
- Identifies and recommends community agency linkages for student learning experiences
- Participates with the team to plan theory and clinical content of courses
- Participates in institutional committees and initiatives and represents the university at professional, community, and recruitment events as needed
Requirements
- Ability to work in both a face-to-face and online teaching environment [Required]
- Knowledge of computer based academic delivery systems [Required]
- Ability to work with an ethnically diverse student body [Required]
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills [Required]
- Ability to effectively communicate with college administration, faculty, staff, and others internal and external to the organization [Required]
- Organizational and administrative skills [Required]
- Knowledge of computer programs related to educational duties, including but not limited to word processing, database management, complex data computation, analysis and graphics, presentation development, and distance learning technology [Required]
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills [Required]
- Ability to work as a member of a team of highly motivated and experienced individuals [Required]
- Ability to maintain commitment to high professional standards with honesty and integrity [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- 2+ years of effective college-level work in the area of academic or professional expertise [Required]
