Position Mission
Design, develop, and deliver high-quality asynchronous (pre-recorded) and live-online courses in the fields of personal training, strength and conditioning, exercise science, and emerging industry trends.
- Achieve a minimum 90% learner satisfaction rate by delivering clear, engaging, and application-focused instructional content
- Uphold Focus Personal Training Institute as a premier provider of education in fitness and performance training through innovative, research-backed course offerings
- Work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and industry leaders to maintain cutting-edge, credible, and practical course content
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Demonstrated teaching or academic experience at the college or professional level
- All candidates must have prior on-camera instructional experience and must be proficient in digital technology
- Experience designing or teaching courses in fitness, exercise science, or continuing education
- Demonstrated experience with asynchronous or hybrid course design is preferred
- Remote teaching experience using Zoom or similar platforms
- Familiarity with CEU approval processes and continuing education standards for fitness professionals
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and digital education methodologies
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to teach, explain, and simplify complex concepts in both written and verbal formats
- Knowledge of current personal training methodologies, corrective exercise, performance enhancement, recovery, and longevity
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset for working with internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high academic and professional standards
