About the role

Linden Park Primary School is a diverse multicultural community with over 80% English as an Additional Language and Development (EALD) enrolment. As an International Baccalaureate school, we implement a Primary Years Program grounded in a transdisciplinary program of inquiry, focusing on developing student's Learner Profile Attributes and ATLs.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively in teams to design Units of learning that are consistently implemented across year levels.
  • Teach Primary to Year 6 students in a subject area.
  • Evaluate teaching practices and make changes based on feedback.
  • Implement a concept-driven curriculum with a focus on student agency and voice.

Requirements

  • Valid teaching qualification.
  • Experience in primary education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Teaching qualification recognized by the relevant authorities.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Experience with project-based learning and inquiry-based teaching methods.
