Teacher - Elementary LTS (Two Positions)

Centrally located on Interstate 94 less than 25 miles northwest of Maple Grove and 30 miles southeast of Saint Cloud, Monticello is home to five brick-and-mortar schools and two nature-based facilities serving more than 4,000 students annually. Monticello consistently ranks in the top 50 school districts in the state as measured by a number of organizations and metrics, and performs above the state average in graduation rates, test scores, and early college opportunities.

About the role

Monticello Schools is looking for a licensed elementary teacher to provide full-time direct service for elementary students at Little Mountain Elementary.

• 1st Grade LTS: 8/31/26 – 11/30/26
• 3rd Grade LTS: 9/18/26 – 1/4/27

Requirements

• Current elementary teaching license for the State of Minnesota

• Understanding of the Minnesota Academic Standards for content area
• Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs, and the strategic plan of the district
• Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning
• Maintains confidentiality of information about students, staff, and families
• Experience working with diverse students and families – experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred

Pay

Daily Rate: $258
