About the role

The role involves small group and individual (Year 12) instrumental teaching, and ensemble conducting. It also includes collaborating with staff across multiple schools to develop programs aligned with the SA Curriculum and SACE frameworks.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualification and registration with the Teachers Registration Board of SA.

Skills

• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple sites with leaders, colleagues, students, and the school community to improve learning outcomes in instrumental music.
• Experience in planning and delivering an instrumental music program, including assessment and reporting.
• Pedagogy for small group string lessons with mixed year levels/abilities, ensuring inclusion and agency for diverse learners.
