What You'll Need

  • Relevant teaching qualification and registration with the Teachers Registration Board of SA
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, families, and colleagues

What You'll Do

  • Involves Small group and individual (Year 12) instrumental teaching, and ensemble conducting
  • Collaborating with staff across multiple schools
  • Developing programs aligned with the SA Curriculum and SACE frameworks
  • Teaching woodwind instruments in groups in primary years
  • Specialising in clarinet (group/individual) in secondary years, with other woodwind instruments by negotiation
  • Conducting bands/ensembles in primary years, secondary by negotiation
  • Using IT as appropriate
  • Possible distance teaching by negotiation
