Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of assigned classes as a lead teacher.
• Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe environment.
• Observe children’s interests and collaborate with other teachers to develop an engaging curriculum.
• Communicate daily with parents, sharing children’s adventures and achievements via mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Maintain required teacher‑to‑child ratios and ensure classroom resources are adequate.
• Address stressful situations calmly and professionally while multitasking to keep school operations smooth.
• Lift up to 50 lb in connection with handling children; for Infant and Young Toddler teachers, lift infants safely in and out of cribs.
• Meet background‑check eligibility and adhere to all safety and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
• 99‑PreSchool Certification (preferred) or 45‑hour Infant/Toddler Certification (MSDE) – required.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (preferred).
• 1–2 years of previous early‑childhood teaching experience (required).
• Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
