Role Responsibilities
- Supports the veterinary oncologist in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer diagnosis and treatment.
- Aids in diagnostic procedures, chemotherapy administration, anesthesia, patient monitoring, and client education.
- Assists in ensuring timely and effective treatments for patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensures calmness and organization during medical situations, following directives from the veterinary team.
- Contributes to the refinement of workflows and staff development within the oncology department.

Education & Experience
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential, or equivalent (RVT, LVT), from an accredited veterinary technician program.
- Proven track record of clinical leadership and/or prior experience in an Oncology setting.
- If hired, the employee must obtain an OR CVT license within 45 days of starting the position.
