ONCOLOGY TECHNICIAN float PRN
Job Summary
Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to Oncology population. Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma/GED
- Preferred Field Of Study: Nursing
- Preferred Education Level: Nursing Fundamental Course Completion
- Preferred Field Of Study: Nursing
- Licensure Certification Needed: Yes
- Minimum Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CNA not required for students who have completed nursing fundamental course and are actively enrolled in nursing program (LPN, ASN, ADN, BSN).
- Training Required:
- Successful completion of Moffitt’s Oncology Technician orientation and checklist within the first ninety days of employment.
- Basic familiarity with nursing procedures and knowledge of medical terminology.
- Fundamental computer skills.
- Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills.

Pay
Salary Range: $21.50 - $21.50
- Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
