About the role
Provides direct nursing care to oncology patients in a specialized unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. Works in a 32-bed unit serving both Bone Marrow Transplant and Oncology patients, with multidisciplinary team collaboration. Safety-sensitive position emphasizing alertness and safe practices.
Responsibilities

- Communicates effectively across care teams
- Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, addressing barriers to involvement
Qualifications
ADN or BSN required; RN licensure; preferably
Skills
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities
- Knowledge of oncology care, including high-acuity interventions
- Commitment to professional growth through fellowship and certification programs
