Oncology RN

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Oncology RN to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients receiving cancer treatment.

In this role, you will administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, closely monitor patient responses, and provide education and support to patients and families. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate complex care, uphold safety and infection-control standards, and maintain accurate EMR documentation. Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients across the treatment continuum.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive medications per protocol and provider orders.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, side effects, and treatment responses.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, symptom management, and home care.
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, infection control, and chemotherapy handling guidelines.
• Advocate for patients' physical and emotional needs, providing compassionate support.
• Use EMR systems to document care and communicate with the care team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
• Precept and mentor newer staff as needed, supporting a culture of teamwork.
