Oncology Infusion Nurse - Per Diem

About the role

Care for patients in Medical Oncology/Infusion. Administration of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy & Blood Products. Willingness to train in Radiation Oncology and physician practice. Float to Charge Nurse as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products
• Provide patient care in Medical Oncology and Infusion settings
• Train in Radiation Oncology and physician practice
• Float to Charge Nurse duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of chemotherapy administration experience
• NYS Registered Nurse Licensure
• BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year cancer care experience
• ONS Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy certification required or must be obtained within 3 months

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of Oncology experience
• ONCC Certificate
• Experience with Cerner/Power Chart EMR
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
• Prior Charge Nurse experience

Pay

$70.00 per hour
