Oncology Concierge Technician

Responsibilities

• Practices first call resolution to help health care providers and patients with their pharmacy needs; answering questions and requests.
• Communicates with patients and physician office staff to resolve issues, coordinate medication deliveries, collect co-payments, answer questions, triage calls to appropriate departments as needed.
• Understand unique attributes and business rules specific to Manufacturer programs that participate with Concierge Services.
• Performs duties as assigned by Sr Mgr, Ops Processes & Concierge Service specific to needs of manufacturer relationship.
• Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and compliance with professional practice and patient confidentiality laws.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and other duties as assigned.
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, licensed/registered Oncology Concierge Technician or as required by state law.
• Previous Experience in Pharmacy.
• 1+ years pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Oncology Concierge Technician (PTCB), specialty pharmacy experience desired.

Skills

• Pharmacy or healthcare-related knowledge.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology including sig codes, and Roman numerals, brand/generic names of medication.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills.
• Specialty pharmacy experience desired.

Pay

• $22.00 an hour and up

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, full time roles, with schedules between 8:30-5:00pm EST to 11:30-8:00pm EST.
• Position can work remotely.
