About the role
The Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, Nebraska is actively recruiting compassionate, patient-focused and collegial physicians to join their faculty.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the multidisciplinary clinical care of patients with Genitourinary malignancies including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and renal cancer.
- Design and conduct cancer clinical trials.
- Collaborate with translational and basic scientists to advance cancer research and treatment.
- Engage in multidisciplinary patient care teams, inpatient treatment, outpatient care, clinical trials, and investigator-initiated clinical research.
Requirements
- Board certified in internal medicine and BC/BE in medical oncology and/or hematology.
- Interest in teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.
Qualifications
- Experience in Genitourinary malignancy management is preferred.
- Strong interest in clinical research and translational science.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Interest in academic medicine and research.
