About the role

The Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, Nebraska is actively recruiting compassionate, patient-focused and collegial physicians to join their faculty.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the multidisciplinary clinical care of patients with Genitourinary malignancies including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and renal cancer.
• Design and conduct cancer clinical trials.
• Collaborate with translational and basic scientists to advance cancer research and treatment.
• Engage in multidisciplinary patient care teams, inpatient treatment, outpatient care, clinical trials, and investigator-initiated clinical research.

Requirements

• Board certified in internal medicine and BC/BE in medical oncology and/or hematology.
• Interest in teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.

Qualifications

• Experience in Genitourinary malignancy management is preferred.
• Strong interest in clinical research and translational science.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Interest in academic medicine and research.
