On‑Call MRI Technologist – Weeknight and Weekend Coverage

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostic MRI exams following department protocols
• Ensuring proper patient identification and exam preparation
• Reviewing images for quality and accuracy
• Adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a safe environment
• Providing patient education and comfort
• Operating MRI equipment and maintaining documentation
• Following QC, safety, and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR), ARMRIT, or ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• IV competency within 30 days of hire

Preferred qualifications include 1–2 years MRI experience and a bachelor’s degree.

Physical Requirements

Frequent interaction with patients and staff, manual dexterity, lifting, walking, standing, and navigating busy environments.
